The mark of a disciple

For the sake of sinners, Jesus died, and was put in a tomb, and raised to life on the 3rd day so that anyone who believes in him, he gives them the right to become children of God! After his resurrection, Jesus commanded his disciples to go and “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them” (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is a glorious picture of a person’s union with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and is a believer’s first step of obedience after believing in Jesus, turning from their sins, and confessing him to be Lord of their lives. Whether you are a new believer, or you have been a Christian for a significant period of time, if you have never been baptized after your profession of faith in Jesus, this should be your next step!
