Everything we do together as a church requires the willingness and giftings of other members of the family. If you are a guest, we don’t have any expectations of you. Our hope and prayer is that you experience our hospitality, hear and believe the gospel. However, if and when you become part of the family, we expect that the natural progression is that you go from thinking about what can be done for you, to what you can do for others. If you are no longer a guest but a committed member at One Family Church, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved. Below are the most common areas where you can serve.
Opportunities to serve
One Family Kids
“Whoever welcomes one child like this in my name welcomes me” (Matthew 18:5). Teach, help with check-in, assist a teacher, or rock a baby while you pray for them.
Worship Team
Use your voice or your instrument for the glory of God. We hold a few auditions throughout the year.
Service Support
Welcome every guest as family. With warm greetings and spaces prepared with care, this team helps everyone who walks through our doors feel at home.
Creative Team
Use your gifts in photography, video, design, and social media to help share the story of the gospel in creative ways.
YA Team
Help equip the next generation to make disciples and represent Jesus everywhere they go. Serve with Young Ambassadors, our middle and high school ministry.
Events Team
We meet people so that we can meet needs, in the hope that they meet Jesus. This team plans ways to serve families in our city throughout the year.
Feed the Hungry
Every Friday we come together to feed the hungry, sharing a meal, compassion, and hope with those in need.
Prayer Team
Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. This team supports anyone who needs it through the power of prayer.
